Outsourcing is jargon from the world of business and the ICT sector and means contracting out tasks outside the scope of the core business. At the end of the nineties and early 21st century, outsourcing was a popular strategy among businesses. There was a trend in which companies reverted to their core business and hired the rest from other companies.
