Drains

Drains are (sealable) openings in the floor of reefer containers for the drainage of condensation. Combined with the size of the opening of the drains, the air humidity of the reefer can be influenced, ensuring that perishable goods stay in a better condition during transport. The drains in a reefer are also referred to as vents.
