DES
This incoterm has expired since 01-01-2011 and replaced by DAP or DAT.
Delivered Ex Ship (DES) means that the seller fulfils his delivery obligation when the non-cleared goods have been delivered to the buyer aboard the vessel in the designated port of destination. The seller bears the full risks and costs in connection with the transport to that port of destination. The term DES can only be used for transport by sea and inland shipping traffic.
