Port Gent plans alliance with Indian Abellon regarding sustainable energy.

Port Authority Gent will sign a statement of intent with the Indian group Abellon CleanEnergy. The two partners want to cooperate in sustainable energy. Abellon CleanEnergy is Indian market leader in developing sustainable energy, the key point in the strategy of the Port of Gent.
The statement of intent will last three years and concerns the exchange of knowledge of various aspects of bio energy. It might lead to the development of a new port for bio energy at the coast of Gujarat and to the foundation of a bio mass factory and European distribution centre of Abellon in Gent. (source NT)
