IATA positive about 2010

Air freight organisation International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects that the international air freight sector will have a total loss of 2,8 million dollar. This is much less than the loss of 5,6 million dollar, that IATA announced in December 2009.

The total turnover will be 522 billion dollar in 2010, expects IATA. This is again an positive change against the earlier estimation. The remaining recovery of the airfreight at the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 is the reason for this huge re-adjustmen of the loss prognoses of 2010. Asia and Latin America are ahead with increasing air freight. (source NT)
