Rule-to-work actions announced at APM Terminals Rotterdam

For some time now, APMTR has been negotiating an extension of the CLA with labour unions. These negotiations have stranded recently.

An ultimatum set by the unions ended Monday 30 January at 00.01 hrs and meanwhile actions have been announced. These actions consist of rule-to-work actions with regard to prescribed short breaks during operations. This will have as effect that our productivity will not be up to our normal standard and that delays will occur in vessel and truck handling. It is not yet known how long these actions will last.

We are doing all we can to limit the effects on our operation; however, we have to ask you to please keep in mind that our planning for this week will suffer from delays.
