Update: Entry Summary Regulation (ENS)

On June 30th 2011, the grace period for submission of ENS will come to an end. The EU Commission may therefore impose fines or even delay vessels when arriving at EU ports, if the security manifest data has not been submitted 24 hours prior to loading.
Please remind your booking party to adhere to the ENS regulation when booking to EU ports as non-compliance may lead to cargo not being loaded on board the designated vessels. This information must be correct and final before the given deadline at port of loading.
In case of non-compliance with this regulation, Customs Authorities may impose fines or other penalties on the carrier. Should a penalty be imposed due to amendments requested by the customer after the security manifest transmission, we will hold the customer fully liable for any fine and/or other related charges incurred.
