Petrobras should invest U.S. $ 350 million marine terminal

Supply Director of Petrobras, Paulo Roberto Costa, said the company investment program of $ 350 million to build a marine terminal to sell future production of oil fields in the pre-salt Santos Basin.

He said the option for the floating terminal - which will be installed 90 km of coast between the states of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo - came up with the impossibility of expansion of existing terrestrial terminals today in São Sebastião (SP) and Angra dos Reis (RJ). "We will install a tanker dynamic positioning (without anchors) to receive the bulk of which comes pre-salt fields," he said in an interview to get to the seminar on logistics and infrastructure of Abimec-Rio.

He said the state has already launched bids for the construction of the terminal will have capacity to receive between two and three million barrels of oil per day.
