Brazil has a surplus of U.S. $ 427 million

The trade balance registered a surplus of $ 427 million in the second week of this month. During the period, exports were $ 4.099 billion and imports reached U.S. $ 3.672 billion, according to data released yesterday, 16 days, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.

Within two weeks of the month, exports totaled U.S. $ 8.517 billion and imports U.S. $ 7.147 billion, resulting in positive trade balance of U.S. $ 1.370 billion.

From January until the second week of August, the surplus was U.S. $ 10.603 billion, against U.S. $ 18.433 billion in same period of 2009. So far this year, exports are at $ 115.377 billion and imports at U.S. $ 104.774 billion.
