Strike at Montreal Port
We have been advised by the carrier's that due to a port strike in Port of Montreal and they have announced that they have implemented a booking stop for all Montreal bound vessels.
Due to the facility lock out at Montreal port, current vessels are being diverted to Halifax. There will be an extra surcharge named CDS (Cargo Diversion Surcharge) which will be billed pro-rated to the HBL consignee.
Due to this unexpected and sudden additional throughput via Halifax, some delay is expected.
