What does Transport mean?
Coca Cola open happiness with Embassy Freight
“I just wanted to send a quick note to let you know how much we have appreciated all the help your company has given us in our shipment of stock from Australia to the UK. Our main contact person, Stephanie has been a pleasure to deal with and also sent us updates and really reassured us throughout the entire process. This was the first time this team (GB Business Development) has had to get stock from the other side of the world delivered and had tight deadlines to meet and with Stephanie's help - she has made this all flow so smoothly and taken a large amount of stress off the team. I just wanted to share with you our satisfaction and to let you know how much Stephanie has helped this be successful. She really has been great! I will definitely be recommending your services to the rest of Coca-Cola GB.” - Lisa Cowan Personal Assistant to Jon Woods GB Business Development Team Administrator.
Embassy Freight UK together with CT Freight Australia has just completed the movement by Airfreight of nearly 50,000Kgs of Coca-Cola product from Sydney to London. The project presented Embassy & CT Freight with two shipments, one of +31 Tons and the second of +17 Tons that had to move within the tight deadlines set by Coca-Cola. Embassy & CT Freight were able to meet these deadlines thanks to their teams of professional staff and the facilities that they operate from.
In order to ensure that there was the quickest transit time and to avoid any pilferage whilst in transit - CT Freight loaded all the cargo on to PMC equipment and made it secure in their Sydney warehouse under the latest CCTV surveillance system, before tendering to the airline.
Upon arrival in London the cargo was immediately transferred under Customs Bond to Embassy’s facility at London Heathrow Airport before being Customs Cleared, checked (again under CCTV) and loaded for delivery to Coca-Cola’s required delivery address all in tact and within the tight deadlines that they had to work to.
Thanks to good planning having understood the clients exact needs, the project was completed without any delays or problems and as you can see from the comments made by Coca-Cola they were very happy indeed.
