Brussels breeds on digital platform for shipping

The European Commission will publish a proposal to exchange maritime information more often online. According to Dimitros Theologitis, a CEO within the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport, Brussels aims to that future 'framework on e-maritime "to an open digital platform for reporting formalities, communication with authorities and notices to commercial partners.

Also, the initiative aims to sailors easier access to the Internet. Theologitis calls the framework, that his people are currently preparing, a gift for the sector.
