Para opens new notice of employment

The Port of Maraba had on last Friday, day 23, the publication of new bidding rules for procurement of basic design and environmental impact study of the Plataforma Logística Intermodal Transport Maraba, in the Carajás region.

The new edict of No 01/2010, replacing the No. 01/2009 (published on December 24), setting the type of bidding in technology and price. The estimated cost is $ 5.1 million for the basic design and R $ 1.1 million for the reporting of environmental impacts.

The investment of the port has a total cost estimated at $ 100 million and will be executed by the state government in partnership with DNIT (National Department of Transport Infrastructure). The project includes two terminals for the handling of bulk solids (one for agricultural products and for other minerals), a cargo terminal for bulk liquids (fuel) and other general cargo terminal.

The public complex interconnect the vertical pole of the mineral Para Port of Vila do Conde, in Barcarena, establishing an alternative outlet for production and receipt of inputs by the Araguaia-Tocantins.

The technical visits to the site will be held on 12 and May 19, and the competition will end on June 7 with the opening of tenders. The notice is available on the websites www.seir.pa.gov.br, and www.comprasnet.gov.br www.compraspara.pa.gov.br.
